Kinnick Early US Family History published in book form

Many Kinnick descendants have asked when an updated Kinnick Family History book would be published in print... a book you can hold and read... not online.

The first new Kinnick book is now available at: http://stores.lulu.com/drbillshares

At this site, click on the link to see more details about the book, including a preview and the back cover.
You can also order the book from this site.

Thanks for the welcome, Bill. I'd actually been in touch with you probably about 5-6 years ago. My fathers middle name was Wright, the maiden name of his mother. I really don't know if my grandparents or other ancestors came from Czechoslovakia but I believe it is a distinct possibility because I'm part Czech from my father's side of the family. I try tracing my roots from time to time but always run into road-blocks and get frustrated. I have quite a few photos of my family but none are labeled so I don't know who is who. I'll scan and save some soon and post them here if I can.

HI Bill....I am going to paste here the e-mail my mom forwarded me regarding the lineage:

Hello Mr. Smith:

This is a pleasure as I have had all of my grandmother's geneology research for over 20 years and did not have time with raising my two girls to do much until now. I mainly only have my grandma's lineage. She had trouble in the 70s finding a lot about the Kinnick line. I wanted to write you to add on names and make some corrections.

I am thrilled that there is a new Kinnick book as I only have the old one. In the Kinnick book does it show my lineage (John Wishard Kinnick) back to the first settlers? Personally, I have only gone back to John Wishard Kinnick thus far.

I am René Marie Coffelt (Kinnick). I am Therell Russell Kinnick and Jean Carolyn Kinnick's granddaughter.

I am the eldest daughter of John Orville Kinnick. He was their only child.

I found this website which shows my grandparents and great grandpa John B Kinnick: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kinnick/kbk10/john/johnwishard/johnb/therell.html

Corrections and lineage:

Mountainberg is spelled with a "u", Mountainburg

Therell was born in 1917, not 1916 and died in Westminster, Orange County, CA (city was just missing). He and my grandmother are buried together with one tombstone to the left of Fannie Mae Kinnick (Pope) wife of John B. Kinnick at Hatfield Cemetery in Mountainburg, AR. I added them to the cemetery list. You can see part of the tombstone on Fannie Mae's tombstone picture.

Jean Kinnick's last place of residence was Kent, King Co, WA 98035. She died in Gig Harbor, WA in my home instead of listed city of Seattle. Date is correct.

NEW ADDITIONS:

Descendents of John Orville Kinnick - born May 2, 1946, Miami, FL

First marriage to Pamela Francine Fox on February 1968, divorced November 1971

One child:

René Marie Kinnick - born 10/16/1967

René's Children:

Rebekah Lisette Gonzalez - born 07/01/1988

Sheree Kristine Gonzalez - born 09/25/1990

Second marriage René Marie Gonzalez (Kinnick) to Tod Russel Coffelt 11/01/2005.

Children: None.

John Orville Kinnick had a:

Second marriage to Sybil Jean Cradduck on Nov 1970 , divorced 1992.

Their three children:

1. Nicole Vanessa Kinnick - born 11/07/1975

Son:

Caleb _____

2. Alyssa Felice Kinnick - born 02/04/1980

Son:

Samuel _____

Yes that is my great grandmother! Her maiden name is Lewis. And Therall was also called T.R. (Therall Russell). (They are buried at Hatfield Cemetary) They met while working together, she was a waitress, he was a chef and moved around the country a bit working in restaurants together, they were so in love, married at 17 years old. I do know Jean grew up in Miami Beach. My mother Rene has a lot more information on this side of the family and she told me she has e-mailed you. I will have to get you some pictures too!

Thanks! Yes, asore@allstate is still valid, as is Andrea.Dannenfeldt@allstate - they both come to the same inbox, so you can use either one. This looks fun - I'd love to frame a family tree at some point, so I may come asking for help at some point in the future!
